Our kids have never had more ways to connect. But somewhere along the way, connection became tangled up with feeds, algorithms, endless scrolling and the whole internet in their pocket.
What if we gave them another way?
A way to call their friends. Make plans. Talk just because. Build independence. Belong.
No feed required.
Because one family making a different choice can feel hard. But when a whole community does it together, we can change what feels normal.
Give kids a way to reach their world, without giving them the World Wide Web.

A simple phone. A big idea.
Project Landline gives kids the freedom to call their friends, make plans and stay connected, while families and school communities create a healthier digital culture together.
It’s connection, back to its simplest form.
Project Landline began in the US, where one school community put 250 phones into the hands of families, giving kids a simple way to call their friends, make plans and stay connected.
Now, Screen Sanity Australia is bringing the movement Down Under.
Together with Landie, our Australian phone partner, we’re taking Project Landline into school communities and giving families a practical way to create a different culture of connection, together.
Because this is bigger than a phone.
It’s about giving kids friendship, independence and belonging without automatically giving them feeds, algorithms, endless scrolling and the World Wide Web in their pocket.
And when a whole community gets involved, something powerful happens: a different choice starts to feel normal.
Through Screen Sanity education, Project Landline resources and the Landie phone, we’re helping communities turn that choice into action.
The phone is the tool. The community is what makes it work.
