Fiona Foxon is a global business leader, social entrepreneur and passionate advocate for stronger, healthier communities. With nearly two decades of experience spanning international business, philanthropy and non-profit leadership, she has built her career around bringing people together, challenging conventional thinking and turning ambitious ideas into meaningful impact.
Born in Singapore and raised across the United States and Asia, Fiona developed an early appreciation for cultural diversity, human connection and the power of community. A graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, she began her career in Hong Kong, helping establish Ventures in Development, a pioneering social enterprise supporting rural entrepreneurs to build sustainable livelihoods.
Her career has since spanned senior leadership roles at global organisations including Mattel, Quintessentially and Tink Labs, alongside founding her own business and leading purpose-driven initiatives across international markets.
After becoming a mother, Fiona found herself increasingly drawn to work that combined her professional expertise with her personal values. A chance conversation in a Brisbane school car park became the catalyst for her involvement in establishing Screen Sanity Australia, bringing together her passion for social impact, community-building and empowering families.
Now based in Hong Kong, Fiona continues to support Screen Sanity Australia in a strategic advisory capacity, contributing her international perspective and experience to the growing conversation around children’s digital health.
She also serves on the board of the Australian Gaming and Screens Alliance (AGASA), supporting its work to promote healthier relationships with gaming and technology. In Hong Kong, Fiona is Executive Director of the American Club Foundation, where she leads initiatives focused on supporting young people, strengthening communities and environmental sustainability.
As a mother and former professional rugby player, Fiona understands the importance of resilience, teamwork and the courage to challenge the status quo.
She believes lasting change doesn’t happen in isolation. It begins when people come together, challenge existing norms and create a better future for the next generation.
