Screen Sanity Program Options

I want to host a Screen Sanity event. What are my options?

OPTION 1 – GROUP STUDY

For organizations looking to host a book-club-style event, consider offering our Screen Sanity Group Study. This program offers video-guided sessions—specifically designed to spark face-to-face conversation with others about the topic of digital health. Each session contains a video, discussion questions, take home tips, and a list of additional resources. You can pick and choose topics that are most relevant for your group—or do them all! There is no fee to host a group, however you must PURCHASE A COPY of the Screen Sanity Group Study to gain access to our online video library—it is best if each participant has a copy. And for those who sign up as an official Screen Sanity Group Leader, we provide a Host Guide that includes recommendations on creating your own groups, a suggested schedule for your gatherings, as well as helpful encouragement and tips to facilitate a rich discussion.

• This resource is FREE to download, or you can purchase printed copies on Amazon, $15/copy.

OPTION 2 – INTERACTIVE WEBINAR

For organizations looking to host a Facebook-Live-style event, this 60-minute virtual workshop helps parents create a family screen plan based on expert-guided content about digital health. It is scheduled for a date and time that you select for your community, and participants join from home or wherever they choose! The program includes a roadmap for introducing your kids to a smartphone and social media, and time for parents to interact about challenges they are facing—no matter what age or stage your kid is at in the process. The content is designed for adults only, but will give you practical ways you can talk to your kids about this topic. If you are unable to attend live, the session will be recorded and sent to registered participants to view at their convenience. Parents can take notes on the free PDF provided, or you can pair this option with the Screen Sanity Group Study book for a meatier note-taking option. OPTION 3 – LIVE SCREENING

For organizations looking to host a movie-theater-style event, this 60-minute screening helps parents create a family screen plan based expert-guided content about digital health. This includes a road-map for introducing your kids to a smartphone and social media, and time for parents to interact about challenges they are facing—no matter what age or stage your kid is at in the process. The content is designed for adults only, but will give you practical ways you can talk to your kids about this topic. Parents can take notes on the free PDF provided, or you can pair this option with the Screen Sanity Group Study book for a meatier note-taking option. ($15/copy)
